Se invece si pensa alle singole persone che fanno cose diverse all'interno del gruppo, si sceglie il plurale: The jury have reached their decision, la giuria è arrivata alla propria decisione. Si noti che quando il verbo è al singolare, un'eventuale proposizione relativa sarà introdotta da which o that, mentre se il verbo è al plurale, poiché si pensa alle persone, si ricorre a who. -
